Morning Hug

This is an ACEO / ATC watercolour and ink sketch(done very quickly) on cartridge paper designed for Mothering Sunday 2006 and sold on ebay.

Streamside Walk

The object of this exercise was to find a photo and improve the composition. With overhanging trees, the path was very dark and the figure was further back and right in the centre. So I brightened up the whole scene and brought him closer. I used rather a lot of masking fluid! Watercolour on 160 gsm April 2005

St Mary's Church, Apsley

This is my parish church, taken from a photo on a dull day; one of my first attempts at a 'proper' painting. Watercolour on 160 gsm March 2005 I'm looking forward to publishing more accomplished pieces!

Moat Filling
